Cofton sold 15 acres of serviced land to Taylor Woodrow in October 2005 who received permission for a detailed scheme of 225 residential units and associated open space. Of the 225 dwellings 68 are identified for affordable housing. Please see supporting master plan below for further details.
Cofton submitted an application for residential development on 30th March 05 which was refused. After an Appeal and Public Inquiry Cofton received outline planning permission for a residential development and associated open space on approximately 30 acres in November 2006.
